Opportunity:
CT/Xray Technologist - Imaging Services
Job Details:
* Work 10-hour night shifts Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Acute care setting with 24/7 department coverage
* No on-call or standby requirements
* Perform CT, X-ray, and portable X-ray exams including ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies
* Average daily volume includes 5-10 CT scans, 8-10 ultrasound studies, and 10-15 X-rays
* Department is stroke certified and trauma capable
* No OR or fluoroscopy procedures required
* Start IVs for CT outpatients and possibly perform EPOC Point of Care Creatinine testing for CT (training provided)
* Work with Philips X-ray and portable equipment as well as Siemens CT and X-ray equipment
* Chart using EPIC and McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS
* Department includes 1 CT scanner, 2 X-ray rooms, 1 portable X-ray, 1 ultrasound, and 1 Dexa unit
* Must have experience in both CT and X-ray modalities
* No scrub color requirement
* 1-3 days of department-specific orientation provided, with the ability to extend if needed
* Up to 4 shift cancellations permitted per 13-week assignment
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ARRT (CT), ARRT (R)

This acute care facility features a fully equipped imaging services department offering a broad range of diagnostic imaging capabilities. The department is staffed with experienced leadership including a dedicated manager and lead technologist to support staff throughout their shifts. The facility is stroke certified and trauma capable, providing comprehensive imaging support across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings with a robust protocol system and access to radiologist support.
