Cardiac Intervention Radiology / Structural Heart

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* 3 call shifts required within every 2-week period
* Call shift hours: Monday through Friday 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend call required every 6 weeks: Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
* Minimum 3 years of experience required (hard stop)
* Work within a cardiac intervention radiology room with structural heart
* 3 rooms available with an average daily census of 15 patients
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* No scrub required
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Pre-approved time off: up to 7 days
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, Fluoro Permit, CA CRRT State License, CCI RCIS
* California CLS license must be in hand at time of submission (hard stop)
* Required skills include: angioplasty, aortography, cardiac stent placement, cardiac implant closure devices, catheter/drain exchange, central venous access, chest tube placement, diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, embolization, endovascular interventions, fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, IVC filter placement and removal, left and right heart catheterization, nephrostomy, PCI, PTCA, permanent pacemaker insertion, TAVR, TIPS, Watchman, and vascular closure systems among others

This facility specializes in cardiac intervention radiology and structural heart procedures, operating within a well-equipped interventional environment featuring 3 dedicated procedure rooms. The unit maintains an average daily census of 15 patients and is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, social services, phlebotomy, and interpretation services. The facility upholds high standards for clinical expertise and is equipped to handle a wide range of complex cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures.
