Opportunity:

RN - Surgical Services

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
* On-call every Friday, alternating between 1st and 2nd call
* One weekend call required every 5 to 6 weeks
* Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in field required
* EPIC electronic health records experience required
* Da Vinci surgical system experience required
* BSN degree preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from AHA-approved vendor), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC)
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
