Open Position: RN - Endoscopy GI

Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy/GI Lab

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a number system in place to stay if cases are not completed
* 8 or 10 hour varied shifts with weekends as scheduled
* 1 weekend per month on-call, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday and Sunday (may vary based on nursing rotation)
* Weeknight call approximately 3 days per month using a number system to finish up cases
* Holiday on-call coverage required from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
* Call response time of 30 minutes (typically flexible)
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* 1 RN per room ratio across 5 suites
* Serve as intra-op circulation nurse (no sedation required)
* Perform common procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, and hemorrhoid banding
* Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment required
* Surgical techs available within the department
* No floating requirements
* Charting system: Epic (knowledge of Epic is a plus)
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* BSN not required
* Must provide active driver's license at time of submission
* Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility
* Scrubs provided in-house

The department maintains a structured scheduling system and provides department-specific orientation to ensure staff are prepared to deliver high-quality procedural care.
