Open Position: Lab Specialist - MLT

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* Alternating weekend schedule required (every other weekend)
* No on-call requirements
* Focus exclusively on Chemistry and Microbiology service lines
* No floating between service lines
* At least 1 year of General Lab experience required
* Experience with Alinity, BioFire, and Cepheid analyzers preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ASCP with MLS or MLT, or AMT with MLS or MLT
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Burgundy/Wine
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission

This facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Acute Care Hospital with 286 staffed beds. The organization provides comprehensive medical services to patients across all age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers a well-equipped laboratory environment supporting a wide range of clinical testing and diagnostic services.
