Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts
* Weekend and holiday availability required
* On-call/standby requirement included
* Floating within unit as needed
* No floating to other units required
* Acute care setting
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
* BSN not required
* Experience with high-risk OB, triage, and OR circulating required
* Must be comfortable with surgical admission and recovery
* Must be able to titrate drips including Pitocin and Insulin
* Work with common diagnoses including pre-eclampsia, hypertensive disorders, gestational and insulin-dependent diabetes, high BMI patients, multiples, preterm labor, AMA patients, and substance abuse disorders
* Charting system: EPIC
* EFM system: Centricity Perinatal
* Hospital scrubs required
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

Facility:

This acute care facility features a comprehensive Labor & Delivery unit with 11 L&D beds, 7 antepartum/high-risk beds, 2 OR suites, 3 triage beds, and 24 postpartum beds, supporting approximately 4,000 births per year. The unit follows AWHONN guidelines to the best of its ability and maintains an OB provider in-house 24/7, with neonatal and NICU advanced practice providers available around the clock. The unit is supported by CNAs and surgical techs and utilizes EPIC for charting and Centricity Perinatal for electronic fetal monitoring.
