Opportunity:

TRAVEL - RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Assigned to Cardiac Neuro ICU unit with 26 beds and typical census of 20-24 patients
* Patient ratios of 1:2 with occasional 1:1 and 1:3 assignments
* Night shift team consists of 10-12 RNs and 1 Charge Nurse
* Work with specialized equipment including Impella, Balloon pumps, CRRT, TTM post-code, and EVDs
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform procedures including heart catheterizations (STEMI & NSTEMI), balloon pumps, Impella, TTM, cardioversion, CRRT, EVDs, thrombectomy, coiling procedures, central lines, art lines, and medication drips including vasoactives, sedatives, and paralytics
* Participate in mandatory bedside shift reports and multidisciplinary rounds (MDRs)
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience required
* Neuro ICU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Prior experience traveling to large facility ICU units preferred
* Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive and engaged attitude

Facility:

This large hospital facility features a specialized Cardiac Neuro ICU unit equipped with advanced technology including Impella devices, balloon pumps, CRRT systems, and EVDs. The unit operates with an experienced and tenured staff of 10-12 nurses per shift and is committed to high-quality patient care through structured multidisciplinary rounding and bedside shift reporting. The facility serves a complex patient population requiring advanced cardiac and neurological critical care interventions.
