Job Details:

* Perform hemodialysis treatments in the dialysis unit for patients with End-Stage Renal Disease and Acute Kidney Injuries
* Work Monday through Saturday on day shift with every Saturday coverage required
* 36 hours per week with flexibility to combine 8-hour and 12-hour shifts to meet the weekly requirement
* Weekend coverage every Saturday required, with option for 8-hour shifts if combining shift lengths
* Holiday rotation required including Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day
* No on-call or standby requirement
* First to float when floating is required
* Charting completed in Epic EMR
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)
* Must have prior dialysis experience
* 3 orientation shifts required
* Dress code: Royal Blue and White Scrubs
* Acute care setting

Facility:

This facility operates a dedicated dialysis unit with 10 beds and chairs, serving approximately 20 patients per day. The unit is staffed by a team of 6-7 nurses per day alongside attending physicians specializing in both acute kidney injuries and end-stage renal disease. The unit provides comprehensive hemodialysis treatments in an acute care setting and utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system.
