Job Details:

* Temp to perm opportunity
* 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* Holiday rotation required
* Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to CSC, ART, or West Campus
* Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap SPT
* Preferred case experience: Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Key skills include: aseptic technique, biological and chemical indicators, high-level disinfection (HLD), immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, sterilization wrapping procedures, use of washers/sterilizers, and robotics
* Experience with the following specialties preferred: cardiac, laparoscopic, neurology, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, transplant, and urology
* No more than 2 callouts unless a doctor's note is provided; a 3rd callout may result in removal
* No more than 3 tardies permitted
* Travelers will be added to the inclement weather team (Team A or B); expectations will be provided by management
* All requested time off must be provided at time of submission; no RTO will be approved after contract is signed

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The organization provides a high level of care across a broad range of specialties and serves patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Parking is available for night and weekend shifts with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass.
