RN - Float Pool (Surge)

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
* 36 hours guaranteed per week
* 13+ week contract assignment
* Every other weekend and holiday required
* No on-call requirements
* Must be able to float to other units
* Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/Med Surg experience required
* Previous travel experience required
* Cardiac experience required
* Specialty areas include Cardiac, Float Pool, Med Surg, and Telemetry
* Patient ratio averages 1:7
* EMR system: EPIC required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), NIH, and VA State License or Compact
* Scrub color: Navy Blue per dress code policy
* No block scheduling will be accommodated
* May request one holiday off; no more than two days for holiday RTO will be considered

This healthcare facility is a 495-bed Level II Trauma Center that has earned an "A" grade in Patient Safety for nine consecutive years. The facility operates a Float Pool (Surge) unit with at least 30 beds per unit, providing acute care services across multiple departments. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system.
