Job Details:

* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Epic experience required
* 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights)
* Mandatory on-call 2 times per month in addition to scheduled shifts
* Will be placed on call if not needed for a scheduled shift
* Must be willing to float to Perinatal unit if needed
* Unit includes 4 Triage, 11 LDR, 2 OR, NICU, and Post-Partum with 24-hour OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia coverage
* Treats low and high-risk Labor and Delivery patients
* Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, and adults
* Required skills: use of external fetal monitoring, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, and circulating for C-sections
* Unit systems include SBAR, Omnicell, and eMD Allscripts
* Allscripts charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced
* Maximum of 3 days of requested time off per contract
* No time off requests permitted during the first two weeks of an assignment
* Must work most holidays; 1 holiday time off request may be submitted but is not guaranteed
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
