Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with holiday rotation
* Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus
* Floating to sister facilities required
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Travel experience required
* Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, biological and chemical indicators, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, use of washers/sterilizers, and equipment documentation
* Experience working with the following specialties preferred: Cardiac, Neurology, Orthopedics, Robotics, Transplant, Urology, OB/GYN, ENT, Laparoscopic, and Ophthalmology
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks per guaranteed hours policy
* Parking pass available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20
* All requested time off must be provided at time of submission; no RTO will be approved after contract is signed

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The organization provides a full range of surgical services and specialty care, supporting a diverse patient population that includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The facility maintains high standards of sterile processing and surgical support across multiple campuses.
