Opportunity:

Pediatric Critical Care float pool RN

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week
* Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
* Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
* Float pool position with no home unit - will float to all Pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU within scope to meet facility needs
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks as guaranteed hours policy
* Block scheduling available with manager approval based on unit needs
* 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
* Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)
* ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
* Required skills include: Anti-Seizure Medications, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, care/maintenance of acute airway, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, continuous sedation, ICP monitoring, infection control/PPE, interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, management of chest tubes, management of dysrhythmias, pediatric dosage calculations, PICC line management, and PICU experience
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
