RN Cath Lab

Job Details:

* 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Weekend requirements: every other weekend per unit needs
* On-call required with 30-minute response time; call expectations include 3 weekend days and 6 weekdays (9 days total per month)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with 3 or more years of academic Cath Lab experience
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: provided by facility
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA); CCI RCIS and CCRN preferred
* Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
* Daily census of 15 patients across 3 rooms/beds
* Self-scheduling unit
* Key skills and procedures include: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), TAVR, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, IV vasopressors, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Rotablator Atherectomy, Vascular Closure Systems, Ventricular Assist Device Insertion, ASD Closures, Cardiac Stent Placement, Watchman Procedure, Valvuloplasty, and Blood Product Administration
