Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday with holiday rotation
* Weekend rotation may be required
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs
* Floating to sister facilities is required
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM)
* BLS not required
* Travel experience required
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, steam sterilization testing and monitoring, immediate-use steam sterilization, biological and chemical indicators, use of washers and sterilizers, and sterile processing microsystem
* Patient age groups include: adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Parking available nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds.
