* Work evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM or night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Weekend availability required per department needs
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Scrubs provided by the unit
* Charting experience in Excellian/Epic required
* Required certifications: CBSPD and HSPA/IAHCSMM
* Types of cases include: Spine, Neuro, Ortho, Eye, ENT, GYN, Urology, DaVinci Robotic, Plastics, and Vascular
* Required skills include: Sterilization, Decontamination, Assembly/Wrap, Scope/Probe Reprocessing, Equipment Documentation, and High-Level Disinfection (HLD)
* Instrument and tray reprocessing skills required: General, OB/GYN, Plastic, ENT, Dental, Ophthalmology, Cardiovascular/Thoracic, Laparoscopic, Urology, Robotic, Ortho, Ortho/Totals, Neuro/Spine, Neuro/Crani, and Transplant
* Flexible endoscope reprocessing skills required: Bronchoscopes, Colonoscopes, EGD Scopes, Flex Sigmoidoscopes, Fiber Optics, ERCP Scopes, Enteroscopes, Endoscopic Ultrasound Scopes (EUS), and Endobronchial Ultrasound Scopes (EBUS)
* Preferred robotic experience with Xi Scopes and arms
* Preferred SPD instrument tracking experience with Steri SPM
* Preferred sterilization equipment experience with Steris and VPRO
* Preferred decontamination equipment experience with Steri, Medvator, and Astra
* Patient age groups served: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Facility operates 43 operating rooms

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma status, reflecting its commitment to excellence in patient care and nursing practice. With 672 staffed beds and 43 operating rooms, the facility supports a wide range of complex surgical specialties including spine, neuro, ortho, vascular, and robotic procedures. The organization maintains advanced sterilization and decontamination equipment and utilizes Epic/Excellian for electronic charting.
