Opportunity:

Stepdown RN

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required, agency staff floats first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* No locals accepted within 60-mile radius

This facility is a community-based healthcare organization with a 12-bed Stepdown unit dedicated to providing high-quality care for adult and geriatric patients. The unit supports a wide range of complex medical needs including cardiac telemetry, neurological care, and post-surgical recovery. Staff have access to advanced monitoring and support systems, and the facility maintains a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
