RN - L&D Nights

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs
* On-call required per unit need
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for labor and delivery; antepartum or postpartum up to 4:1
* Float between units within the same service line; may be required to float to sister facility
* Self-scheduling model
* Chart using Epic (required)
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
* Care for patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
* Manage high-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
* Administer and monitor Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, and insulin drips
* Perform and assist with inductions, C-sections, cerclage, and D&C procedures
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO is not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2?September 12, 2026; October 25?November 4, 2026; November 22?December 2, 2026; December 20?January 3, 2027

Facility:

This facility is a well-equipped hospital offering comprehensive labor and delivery services, including high-risk antepartum and postpartum care. The unit features 15 beds and rooms with a daily census of approximately 10 patients and up to 8 visits per day. Robust interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, radiology, and rapid response teams, ensuring a collaborative and well-supported care environment.
