Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2934.60

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with variable start times
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if requisite job specifications are met
* Patient ratios: 2:1 days and weekends, 3:1 nights
* Care for patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Work in an outpatient surgery center performing most same-day procedures with the exception of orthopedic and cardiac cases
* Perform airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management
* Must be able to work in pre-op and extended care units
* Proficiency with Epic charting system required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Travel experience required
* 5 years of nursing experience required with minimum 3 years of PACU experience
* 2 years of critical care experience preferred
* Required certifications: CA RN License, BSN, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Preferred certifications: CCRN or CPAN
* Key skills include Phase I PACU, arterial line management, IV vasopressors, central line care and management, phlebotomy, and starting and maintaining IVs
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal

Facility:

This outpatient surgery center is part of a large, well-established academic health system offering interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and pharmacy. The facility operates with a daily census of approximately 50 patients and performs a wide range of same-day surgical procedures, excluding orthopedic and cardiac cases. As a teaching hospital, it maintains high standards of care and utilizes standard hospital equipment to support a diverse patient population.
