Opportunity:

Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech

Job Details:

* Day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* On-call required: 8-10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Experience in Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab preferred; EP experience preferred
* Required case experience: Pediatric/Adult Transplant, Right/Left Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, Valve Placement; IR experience (preferably pediatric) may also be included
* Skills required include: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult and Pediatric/Neonatal), and Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
* Patient diagnoses include congenital heart patients, heart cath procedures, pediatric/adult transplant, biopsy, balloon and stent procedures, and valve replacements
* 2 Cath Lab rooms
* Charting system: EPIC
* Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also acceptable
* Block schedule available at manager's discretion
* All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submission
* Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and September
