Job Details:

* Day/Evening rotating shift schedule required
* Option 1: Combination of 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts rotating between 06:30-14:30/14:30-22:30 and 06:30-18:30/10:30-22:30
* Option 2: 5x8-hour rotating shifts from 06:30-14:30/14:30-22:30
* Call requirements: 2-4 weeknight call shifts and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 4-week schedule
* No call shift exceeds 12 hours; weekend call is either Friday and Saturday night only OR Saturday and Sunday during the day only
* Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience required
* Previous travel experience required
* Scrub experience must reflect a 3 or 4 on the skills checklist
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with complex and high acuity diagnoses
* Cardiac procedures include: Aortic Aneurysm Repair, MVR, AVR, CABG, ECMO, Heart Transplant, MAZE, LVAD/RVAD, and Aortic Balloon/Impella Devices
* Thoracic procedures include: VATS Wedge Resection, VATS/Open Lobectomy, Esophagectomy, Bronchoscopy, EGD, Mediastinal Mass Removal, Lung Transplant, and Laparoscopic & Open Hiatal Hernia Repair
* Vascular procedures include: AAA, EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy, AV Fistulas, Fem-distal bypass, Fem-fem bypass, SMA bypass, and Vein stripping/ablation
* Special equipment used: XI Robot
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR
* Active Michigan (MI) license required at time of submission; compact licenses not accepted
* Two manager or supervisor references required; charge nurse references not accepted
* All required certifications must be obtained prior to start date
* All requested time off must be submitted upfront; no time off permitted during first week of assignment
