Job Details:

* 4x10 hour day shifts with rotating day off
* Rotating call required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Required certification: BLS
* Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical procedures including but not limited to: orthopedic/spine, total joint replacement, craniotomy, laparoscopic assisted cases, general OR, ambulatory OR, and trauma cases
* Additional surgical skills include: hysterectomy, lumbar/cervical fusion, arthroscopy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, nephrectomy, thyroidectomy, prostatectomy, and vascular procedures
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Facility sees approximately 36 patients per day across 15 rooms
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
* Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
* 20 orientation hours required
