Opportunity:

Pediatric Echo Tech

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts; start times range from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* No holiday shifts required
* Floating required between two sites (North Charleston clinic included)
* Daily caseload of 4 to 10 patients per tech
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification required; FE certification also accepted if applicable; or CCI with RCCS certification all certifications must be in hand at time of start
* Must be proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms and have extensive knowledge of complex congenital heart defects
* Experience with GE equipment (Vivid 95, Pioneer, Voluson) and PACS system for entering full reports preferred
* Proficiency with fetal echos is highly preferred
* BLS certification required
* Radiation badge not required
* Travelers must be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and September
