Opportunity:

General OR - RN

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* On-call required with 4 to 6 call shifts per 4-week period
* Holiday call may be required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must be able to circulate General Surgery cases including Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, Pancreatic/Biliary, and Bariatrics
* Must be able to scrub General OR cases including Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic/Biliary, MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, and Bariatrics
* First-time travelers accepted only with 5 or more years of experience
* South Carolina or multi-state RN license must be in hand at start of contract
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS - both must be AHA
* Radiation badge required and will be provided by agency
* Charting system: EPIC
* Parking permit available for $20 registration fee for hang tag access to designated parking garage
* All requested time off must be provided at the time of submission and approvals are based on department needs
* Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per 2-week pay period

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The operating room department features 10 rooms and handles approximately 28 procedures per day. The facility supports an interdisciplinary care model with access to IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.
