Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery/Birth Center

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on various days of the week
* Weekend coverage required per unit needs with 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* On-call required 1 day every 6 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
* First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS (AHA), AWHONN Intermediate, C-EFM
* Charting performed in EPIC
* Skills required: Labor and Delivery, Level I Nursery, Mother/Baby
* Care provided for neonatal and adult patient populations
* Float required across North region within Women and Infant service line
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* 15-bed unit

Facility:

This facility features a dedicated Labor and Delivery and Birth Center unit with 15 staffed beds, providing comprehensive care for mothers and newborns. The unit is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and offers a collaborative environment within a broader Women and Infant service line across the North region.
