Opportunity:
RN BMT/ONC (10000205 - Cellular Therapies Unit)
Job Details:
* Rotating shift schedule with various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required based on unit needs
* No on-call requirements
* Care for adult patients on a 51-bed unit specializing in blood cancers receiving chemotherapy, biotherapies, and cellular therapies including stem cell transplants and CAR-T
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 3-4:1, with flexibility based on staffing and unit needs
* Float between BMT/Oncology and Cellular Therapies Unit (CTU) as needed
* May float to sister facilities within the metro region based on facility needs
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Navy
* 2 years of acute care BMT/Hematology experience required with chemotherapy administration experience
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), ONC certification
* Colorado or Compact RN License required
* Required skills include: administration of chemotherapy (IV push, continuous infusion, oral), CAR-T therapy, bone marrow administration, blood and blood product administration, central line care and blood draws, care and management of ports, chest tube care and management, management and disposal of cytotoxic spills, neutropenic precautions, graft-versus-host disease management, acute tumor lysis syndrome, anaphylaxis, sepsis, stem cell therapies, and recognition of abnormal lab values

The organization maintains high standards of patient care and utilizes Epic as its charting system to support clinical staff across its network.
