Opportunity:

RN - Perinatal

Job Details:

* Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Full-time work schedule
* Practice independently in a perinatal clinical setting
* Provide routine and complex nursing care to assigned patients
* Utilize the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor for side effects
* Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
* Perinatal RN Residency or recent experience in a Perinatal setting preferred
* Required certifications: Current AWHONN Intermediate or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), BLS (AHA only), NRP, and ACLS (AHA only)
* RN License in state of TX or compact license required
