Open Position: RN - PACU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2170.60

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Day shift start times available at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM on a waterfall schedule
* Shift lengths of 9, 10, and 12 hours available
* Night shift on-call begins after 9:30 PM
* On-call weekdays from 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM and weekend call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM rotating among staff
* Patient ratios of 2:1, 1:1 for unstable ICU patients, and 1:1 for pediatric patients
* Work on a 19-bed main PACU with an additional 4-bed Atrium PACU
* PACU or ICU experience required; strong neuro background required
* Ventilator competency required
* ICU or PACU experience preferred; drip titration and neurosurgery experience preferred
* Typical procedures include setting up PCA pumps, drip titration, and arterial line blood draws
* Work with ventilators, Philips and GE monitors, and Sigma Spectrum pumps
* EMR system: Meditech
* Navy scrubs required
* No floating required
* Required certifications: ACLS, PALS
* Ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, is a team player, and is reliable
