Open Position: RAD Tech - Sonographer

Opportunity:

CONTRACT - ULTRASOUND TECH (729) - 13 WEEKS - 7:00A-7:00P

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment on day/swing shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Call required: 1 weekday overnight per week
* Work in the ultrasound department located on the basement floor of the hospital
* Perform routine exams and assist with ER patients
* Must have vascular, OB, and general ultrasound skills - candidates without these will not be considered
* BLS certification required
* Experience with GE ultrasound equipment required
* EMR system used is Meditech
* Staff will work alongside a team of 7 ultrasound technologists
* Unit supports VASCULAR, OB, TCD, and ARDS ultrasound types
* Dress code: Black pants and green scrub top required; OR scrubs available upon request
* Permanent positions on the unit are available

This hospital facility is a large inpatient facility with 450 beds, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment within its ultrasound department. The department operates across day and night shifts and supports a wide range of ultrasound specialties. The facility utilizes modern GE equipment and a Meditech EMR system, providing staff with up-to-date technology to deliver quality patient care.
