Job Details:

* Day shifts with 8-hour shifts starting between 5:45 AM and 9:00 AM and ending between 1:45 PM and 5:00 PM
* Call responsibilities included - weekday call runs from 2:30 PM to 6:30 AM and weekend call runs from 2:30 PM Friday through 6:30 AM Monday
* Call is rotated through trained RNs approximately 5 days per month and includes holiday rotation
* Must be ready to make incision within 30 minutes or less for STAT cases
* One week of orientation provided
* Cover Pre-surgery/PATT, OR, and PACU as floating requirements
* Average of 9 cases per day across 3 concurrently running suites
* Common cases include General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology (pacemakers, lead revisions, etc.)
* Must have experience with General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, Cardiology, Pre-surgery, and PACU
* Scrubbing is not required for RNs
* Charting completed using Paragon EMR system
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Must clock in and out at the facility
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)
* BSN not required

This acute care facility operates a multi-suite surgical department running up to three concurrent operating rooms and providing a broad range of surgical specialties. The organization supports a collaborative environment where RNs are cross-trained to cover Pre-surgery/PATT, the operating room, and PACU. The facility maintains a structured scheduling process managed by a dedicated unit manager to ensure consistent and reliable staffing.
