Job Details:

* 36 or 48 hour shift option available per week
* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
* Travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Charting system experience required using Epic
* Required certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
* Patient ratios: 3 patients per nurse on days and weekends, 4 patients per nurse on nights
* Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and starting and maintaining IVs
* Experience with general emergency department combined adult and pediatric, non-trauma emergency department, head injury, near drowning, ortho trauma, and spinal cord injury cases
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, and radiology
* Department daily census of 65 patients across 11 beds and rooms
* One pre-approved time off request permitted
