Job Details:

* 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
* First-time travelers are welcome to apply
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call requirements
* No floating to sister facilities required
* Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams independently
* Ability to identify and recognize contraindications for exams
* Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks to completion within the time allotted
* Ability to respond efficiently to expressed needs of referring services, physicians, and patients
* Excellent interpersonal skills required to work effectively with patients, visitors, hospital staff, and physicians
* Knowledge of medical terminology with ability to distinguish between types of procedures and medical diagnoses
* Skills required: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Hologic 3D, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms
* Special equipment used: HOLOGIC Selenia (frequently), LORAD Stereotactic DSM (frequently), PACS (frequently), PACScanner (frequently), Laser Printer (occasionally)
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT (R)(M), BLS, CA License - CRT (R)(M), MQSA-qualified Mammography Technologist

This facility is a well-established academic health system known for delivering exceptional patient care across a wide range of medical specialties. The mammography department maintains a daily census of approximately 20 patients and is equipped with advanced imaging technology to support both screening and diagnostic procedures.
