Job Details:

* 36-hour night shift schedule
* Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per contract
* No call required
* Self-scheduling
* Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certification: BLS
* Valid OK or Compact RN license required at time of submission
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Emphasis on respiratory care including COPD, tracheostomy care, and isolation patients
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care/management, chest tubes, feeding tube care and management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, telemetry, tracheostomy care/management, wound care/wound vac, and more
* May be required to float to like units within scope based on facility needs
* Locals within 75 miles not accepted

Facility:

This facility operates a 24-bed medical/surgical telemetry unit with a strong emphasis on respiratory care. The unit maintains a daily census of 24 patients and is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.
