Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour shifts per week
* Every other weekend requirement
* Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 on days and 1:5 to 1:6 on nights
* May be required to float between PCU units or to med-surgical floors
* Perform hourly rounding on days and every 2-hour rounding on nights
* Follow AIDET communication standards and maintain communication boards
* Work with equipment including BiPAPs, high flow O2, Vapotherm, Alaris pumps, cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis, and wound vacs
* Document using Meditech system
* Must have critical thinking skills and EKG rhythm interpretation experience
* Must have cardiac drip, insulin drip, and heparin drip experience
* Experience with BiPAPs, high flow O2, and multiple oxygen delivery systems required
* Experience with stroke and post cardiac cath care required
* Peripheral IV skills required
* Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred
* Experience with tube feedings and NG/Dobhoff tubes preferred
* Perform procedures including peritoneal dialysis, thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube insertions, Dobhoff/NG tube insertions, central line dressing changes, and wound vac troubleshooting
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Required dress code: Black scrubs
* Unit utilizes self-scheduling with 4-week schedule blocks
