Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Patient ratios average 3:1, with low acuity at 5:1 and pediatrics utilizing team nursing
* Work in a fast-paced emergency department with 52 beds
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod
* Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
* Utilize Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR system
* Must scan patient and medications every time per unit policy
* Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC
* Experience in traveling or experience at large facility areas required
* ENPC certification preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* Experience traveling to facilities larger than 52 beds preferred
* Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly

This freestanding emergency department operates as a full-service emergency care facility with 52 beds and a staff of 134. The unit is equipped with modern Alaris technology and utilizes Meditech EMR, providing a comprehensive and advanced clinical environment. The facility maintains structured pod-based staffing with dedicated charge nurses, physicians, and midlevel providers to support high-quality patient care across all shifts.
