Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Every other weekend shift required
* On-call required to fit department needs and openings
* Float required between 3 main community hospital sites for call (Leawood, Legends, and Roeland Park)
* Travel experience required; home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
* Block scheduling type with a patient ratio of 1:1 on days, nights, and weekends
* Average daily census of 20 patients across 16 rooms
* Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks; cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length assigned
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Charting system: EPIC (experience required)
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT CT, LRT - State of Kansas
* Both Kansas and Missouri licenses (or compact) required at time of submission
* Required skills include: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, GE, PACS, Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Chest without and/or with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), Carotid, Head without and/or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head, 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering), Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), Region of interest measurement (ROI), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, and Thoracic
* Patient age groups served: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including Interpretation Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
