Job Details:

* Rotating 4x10-hour day shifts with shift times of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, varying as shifts continue until procedures are complete
* Shift rotation is organized by week to maintain consistency, meaning all similar shifts are grouped together rather than alternating day to day
* 1:1 patient ratio
* On-call required: one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and one weekday call shift every week; call requirements may change based on staffing needs
* No floating between service lines or sister facilities required
* Patients seen include adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 20 cases across 5 rooms
* Perform and assist with peripheral and coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures
* Skills required include cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP) lab, Impella insertion, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring
* Special equipment used includes Impella, balloon pump, Angiojet, and Shock Wave
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Charting system: Epic
* Hospital-issued scrubs provided for Cath Lab
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* 2 years of experience required with EP/Cath experience required
* SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* 60-mile local radius rule applies

This acute care hospital is a 304-bed facility offering a full-service Cath Lab with 5 procedure rooms. The unit handles a high volume of cardiac cases daily and is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and is equipped with advanced procedural technology to support complex cardiac and electrophysiology interventions.
