RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Work on a 7th floor Labor and Delivery unit in the Main Tower
* 11-bed unit with AWHONN patient ratios
* Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 1 surgical tech, 4 RNs, and 1 unit secretary
* Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 1 surgical tech, and 4 RNs
* Rotating weekends required; on-call not required
* Scrub color required: Royal Blue or OR scrubs
* Utilize standard GE L&D fetal monitoring, wireless monitoring (NOVII), and Baxter IV Pumps
* EMR systems used: Meditech Expanse and GE CPN Connect
* Must have strong independent L&D skills including cervical checks, OR circulator, IV start, and medication management including oxytocin and magnesium
* Perform labor management, vaginal and c-section deliveries, and pre-op/PACU care
* Device placement (IUPC, FSE) and newborn transition experience preferred
* Must be open, friendly, and able to manage independently while maintaining a team spirit
* Required certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM

This healthcare facility features an 11-bed Labor and Delivery unit staffed with experienced nursing professionals and surgical technicians across both day and night shifts. The unit is equipped with advanced fetal monitoring technology including wireless monitoring capabilities and modern IV pump systems. The facility maintains AWHONN patient ratios and utilizes a comprehensive electronic medical record system to support high-quality patient care throughout the labor and delivery process.
