Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 36 or 48 hour shift options available
* Unit accepts first-time travelers
* High Risk Labor & Delivery Unit covering OB Triage, Postpartum, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery
* Care of laboring patients including high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes for gestations 34 weeks 0 days and greater
* Perform and assist with C-Sections and External Cephalic Versions
* Float to Postpartum as needed based on facility needs
* 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week contract or every third weekend
* Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults
* 2 years of experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Valid KS or Compact RN license required at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP
* AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate certifications preferred
* 50-mile local radius applies; local candidates not accepted

This facility operates a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit providing specialized care for complex obstetric cases. The unit supports a comprehensive range of maternal and neonatal services including OB Triage, Postpartum, and a Level 2 Special Care Nursery, ensuring patients receive advanced care across all stages of labor, delivery, and newborn care.
