Interventional Radiology Tech

Job Details:

* First shift with staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM for 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Friday
* Day off will vary each week and will not be the same day off consistently
* Weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation required
* Primary call rotates approximately one day every 4 weeks and every 5th to 6th weekend
* Back up call is approximately 7 days, including a weekend, every 9 weeks
* Daily caseload of 13 to 17 patients, primarily adults and geriatrics with some adolescents
* Required proficiency in all IR procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
* Required skill in both neuro (including stroke intervention) and body procedures
* Minimum 1 year of scrub experience required, with neuro scrub experience required
* Siemens and Philips x-ray equipment experience required
* Acuson preferred; EPIC and McKesson preferred
* Inpatient hospital experience, PACS, and contrast experience required
* Neuro experience required including stroke intervention
* No float requirement
* Scrubs provided
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS
* ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
