CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (1500-2330) on a 10-hour shift schedule
* 40 hours per week guaranteed
* Perform computerized tomography procedures including procedures of an invasive nature
* Operate a Toshiba Aquilon 64-slice scanner
* Position and instruct patients while operating specialized equipment and determining technical factors for exposure
* Ensure correct marking and labeling of all films
* Provide safe, quality patient care consistently
* Must be available to take call as required
* Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology required
* Must be a registered ARRT
* Knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy required
* Minimum two years of diagnostic experience preferred
* Must be able to lift 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist level
* Must be able to move 40 pounds six feet
* Must be able to reach overhead holding 25 pounds
* Must be able to lift 40 pounds from wheelchair to bed level
* Must be able to pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed
* Must be able to push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
* Requires good stamina with flexibility and strong manual dexterity and motor skills to operate delicate equipment
* Computer skills required
* Must demonstrate accurate judgment and decision-making ability consistent with radiology knowledge and skills

The facility is equipped with advanced CT technology and emphasizes safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures. The team maintains high standards for radiology technology and patient service delivery.
