Open Position: RN - Stepdown

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3868.36

Opportunity:

Med/Surg - Intermediate Care (PCU/Stepdown)

Job Details:

* Day shift position with 36 or 48 hour weekly options available
* Unit serves a mixture of med/surg and intermediate care patients
* Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on patient assignment each shift
* Must be willing to float to med/surg in case of overflow
* Patients include adults and geriatric populations
* Daily census of 12 to 14 patients across a 24-bed unit
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions, and IV insulin protocols
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services
* 50-mile radius rule applies, no local candidates will be considered
