RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 36 or 48 hours per week
* Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* EPIC experience highly preferred
* Holiday RTO will not be approved
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing, and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor per AH policy), AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
