Opportunity:

Rad Tech - X-Ray

Job Details:

* Cover OR, Fluoroscopy, and float positions as required
* Variable shift times with Days or Evenings depending on department needs
* 6-week scheduling cycles
* Weekend rotation required based on department need
* Holiday rotation shared with other technologists
* No on-call required
* Orientation period of 1 to 1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level
* Average patient volume of 25 to 30 scans per day
* Work with outpatient, inpatient, ED, ICU, MedSurg, and Operating Room care areas
* Primarily adult and geriatric patients with some pediatric cases
* Perform Fluoroscopy, C-Arm in OR, Ortho, Ortho Trauma, ICU, MedSurg, and ER imaging including chest X-rays, abdominal scans, and vascular imaging
* OR and C-Arm experience required
* Fluoroscopy experience required; candidates without Fluoro experience but strong overall skills may be submitted to manager for approval
* EMR: Cerner
* PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA
* Equipment includes Siemens, T-Rad with Siemens ART PIX, Cannon Ultimax Hybrid C-Arm, Phillips C-Arm, OEC C-Arm, GE AMX 4 portable, and Mini C-Arm for Ortho scans
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R)
* Maine state license required
* Scrub color: any solid professional color or provided by facility if needed

Facility:

This 89-bed licensed teaching facility provides comprehensive imaging services across multiple care settings including outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, ICU, MedSurg, and the Operating Room. The department is supported by a Lead Tech, internal transport, and a Radiologist who is on-site three days per week and available remotely the remaining days. The facility maintains three imaging rooms and a variety of modern portable and fixed imaging equipment to support diverse patient care needs.
