Job Details:

* Work 4x10-hour shifts Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM at Main location
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call required
* Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including rotation through all buildings when needed
* Floating required to sister facilities
* Must attend all staff meetings
* Guaranteed hours: facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Orientation hours: 40 hours
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 130 with 3 rooms available
* 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with previous experience
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT)
* Required experience: peripheral IV placement, Siemens equipment experience, and Level 1 Trauma experience
* Radiation badge must be provided by agency
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Parking: Nights and weekends only at a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Perform a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, pelvis, brain perfusion, cardiac, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, and myelography
* Procedures include aspirations, biopsies, drainage, colonography, enterography, and colorectal studies
* Experience with 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement preferred
* Equipment used: Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
* IR/Angio/Special Procedures experience preferred including biopsies and drainage
* PACS and Sectra experience preferred
* Radiation safety knowledge required
* South Carolina license must be in hand at time of start

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center as well as a Comprehensive Stroke Center with 865 staffed beds. The facility handles a broad range of cases including routine studies, outpatient services, cardiac procedures, and interventional radiology in addition to high-acuity trauma and stroke cases. The CT department operates with advanced Siemens imaging technology and maintains high standards for both clinical excellence and patient care.
