ARRT MRI Tech

Job Details:

* 7 days on / 7 days off schedule running Thursday through Wednesday
* Weekday shift hours: 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM
* Weekend shift hours: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* On-call required one night per week from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
* Travel experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience is a hard stop requirement - candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
* Siemens experience is a hard stop requirement - manager cannot and will not train
* Equipment used: Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and 2 GE SIGNA HDe 1.5T
* Patient ratio is 1:1
* Performs MRI procedures including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, cardiac, vascular, and extremity imaging
* Performs advanced imaging procedures including MRA, MRV, MRCP, perfusion, and spectroscopy
* Responsible for preparation and administration of contrast media
* Required to follow radiation safety and isolation precaution protocols
* Serves patient age groups including infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Scrub color: any color for Allied professionals
* No parking fee
* Required certifications: ARRT (MR), BLS
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission

Facility:

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma teaching hospital with 209 total staff beds and a daily census of approximately 160 patients. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system.
