Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Work 4x10 shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* Weekend shifts required
* On-call required with 14-15 days of call in a 6-week period
* Weekday call hours run from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend call runs from 5:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday on a rotating per call team schedule
* Must live within a 30-minute radius of the hospital while on call
* No on-site call accommodations available
* 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Strong Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS with IR Tech experience, ARRT R
* Perform procedures including cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, STEMI response, vascular procedures including port placement and thrombectomy, peripheral vascular, cardiac rhythm management including temporary and permanent device implantation, cardioversion, TEE, and EP studies, as well as pain management procedures including RF ablation and steroid injections
* Work across 4 procedure rooms handling Caths, Devices (ICDs, Pacemakers, Linqs), Pain procedures, EP studies with ablations, and peripheral vascular angiography
* Facility averages approximately 280 cases per month with 8-12 STEMIs per month
* Work with patient teams structured as 2-3 teams of four during the day and a team of four on call
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Preferred skills include pacemaker experience, obtaining vitals, rhythm interpretation, and sinus node rhythms
* Work with Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy suites, Philips ISVC PACS, Philips Xper hemodynamics, and Maquet IABP equipment
* Expect to work some holidays and weekends
* 1 RTO request permitted; must be submitted at time of submission and approved prior to assignment
* No floating required within or to sister facilities

Facility:

This facility operates a comprehensive Cath Lab procedural area treating vascular, cardiac, and pain management patients. The unit features four fully equipped procedure rooms and maintains robust interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more. The facility handles a high volume of complex cardiac and vascular cases and maintains a dedicated four-person STEMI call team at all times.
