Opportunity:

RN - OR Circulator

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with night and weekend call rotation
* 1 weekend required every 4-6 weeks
* On-call requirement of 1-2 days per week on rotating schedule with all circulators
* 3-4 weekend shifts per contract
* 10 operating rooms in the unit
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Perform and assist with a wide range of surgical procedures including total joint replacement using Mako Robot, hysterectomy, prostatectomy, and sacrocolpopexy using Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, urologic procedures using Dornier laser, and AAA repair both planned and emergent with vascular surgeon
* Experience with surgical skills including laparoscopic procedures, robotic surgery, orthopedic procedures, general surgery, gynecologic surgery, and urologic surgery required
* Proficiency with surgical equipment including electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, cell saver, and Hana Table required
* Epic experience within the last 18 months required and must be clearly documented on submission profile
* Charting system: Allscripts
* Minimum 1 year circulator experience required; PACU experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Active Tennessee or compact nursing license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS preferred
* Clinician will interview
