Open Position: RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech

Opportunity:

IR Vascular OR Technologist

Job Details:

* 13-week contract
* Shift schedule: 3x12 hours (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) and 4x10 hours (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
* Call required once a week and every fourth weekend
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Perform endovascular and open vascular cases in a hybrid operating room setting
* Perform peripheral vascular work and other endovascular procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, declot, and TCAR
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Treat patients with vascular disease diagnoses
* Work with special equipment including Siemens, Shockwave, and IVUS
* Utilize unit systems including EPIC, PACS, SBAR, and PYXIS
* Scrubs are provided
* 36 hours of orientation (based on experience)
* Contract staff may be assigned to a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters
* ARRT R certification required; ARRT VI preferred
* BLS certification required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Epic experience preferred

This facility features a hybrid operating room equipped with advanced imaging and vascular intervention technology, supporting a comprehensive range of endovascular and open vascular procedures. The unit operates with a 1:1 patient ratio and is supported by an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, phlebotomy, and interpretation services. The facility is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and provides a collaborative environment for experienced vascular and interventional radiology professionals.
