Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Seasonal 13-week contract position
* 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Rotating/alternating weekend schedule
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Day and night shifts include 1 charge nurse, 1 co-charge nurse, and RNs to accommodate 1:1 or 1:2 ratio
* Work with equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and Ultrasound
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform typical procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
* Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring
* Required skills: EFM, SVE competency, and C-section circulation
* Preferred: Internal monitor placement competency and experience in a Level IV high-volume unit
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only (t-shirts not acceptable)

Facility:

This facility is located on the 4th floor of the North building and operates a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit with a staff of 150 healthcare professionals. The unit maintains a strong focus on quality patient care with a 1:2 patient ratio and offers a collaborative team environment. The department performs a wide range of obstetric procedures and utilizes advanced medical equipment and technology to support both patients and staff.
